With 250 million people visiting the site every month there seems to be no place more equipped to spot a trend. That is exactly what they do every year with ‘Pinterest 100’ a report in which they share the top 100 trends for the following year. So what can we expect to see in 2019?

Searches for mustard yellow are up 45%. Try this trend with small accents of the colour or fully embrace it with bold mustard walls.

Searches for textile art are up a massive 1718%. People are looking for interesting ways to decorate their walls and textiles are the next big thing!

As we know easy way of refreshing your walls is with paint but people are taking it a step further with searches for geometric paint shapes up 225%

From backsplashes to wallpaper, tin is in! (Searches for tin interiors +563%)
No paint, no gain:
Upcyling has moved to new territory - floors. People are giving old floors a new life with stencils and bold colours. (Searches for painted floor tiles +1276%)
Paper beats paint:
Looks like we are going to see paint everywhere but walls. Bold paper is on the rise! 2019 is set to be another year of statement papers including tropical leaves, bold prints.
